In the quaint, chilly Finnish countryside, a lonely man named Henri Hämäläinen lives alone in a cabin with nothing more than a bootleg copy of a newspaper dated to 1899, a rusty old knife, a decaying rubber spatula and a cracked mirror.
When a washed-up politician stumbling his way through the forest drunkenly recites a Satanic ritual, Henri's trusty mirror comes to life and immediately begins preaching about the end times, staying calm, and a severe lack of women.
Armed with a talking mirror and the few trinkets he calls "company", Henri leaves his log cabin (that he hasn't disembarked from in 22 years) to head into town, and figure out why demons, aliens and biblically accurate angels are insulting him.
